SUMMARY
The primary function of this position is for lays out, fits and welds fabricated components to assembly structures forms, such as machinery frames, tanks, and parts according to prints and knowledge of welding metallurgy. Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding, applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal shrinkage and welding techniques. May operate other equipment such as overhead crane, forklift, high lift, crane truck.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include all or some of the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

 Welding and fabrication of 316L SS tanks

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
At least five years experience in welding and fabrication environment. Welding and fabrication of Tank building is a plus. TIG, MIG & Stick Welding skills preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret most documents including bills of materials and drawings. Ability to interact effectively with co-workers, vendors, and customers. Ability to write operating instructions in the English language.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic algebra, trigonometry, and statistical theory.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to then develop reasonable solutions.

TRAVEL REQUIRMENTS
This position may require travel.
